We owe the hotel a huge debt of thanks for how accomodating they have been!

They've restocked the bar with microbrews, and are going to set up a separate bar in a space outside the ballroom to help take the pressure off on Friday and Saturday nights, as their regular bar isn't all that large.

For food, they've listened carefully to us, and have prepared a wonderful buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that not only is reasonably priced ($12, $15 & $20) but contains yummy period items for each meal. Things like "lamb stew" and roasted pears and blood oranges and rose water and meats and cheeses and dried fruits and game hens and such.

Vicountess Marian Staarveld handed the head chef a stack of period sources, and away he went! Not only is the buffet going to be available for Friday and Saturday, but they have an amazing Sunday brunch that they usually charge $29 for--but they're dropping the price to $20 for us.

And they're going to serve their regular menu, too, which is pretty darned wonderful. And you can run in, dash through the buffet, and take it with you to where ever you need to be!

For those on a tighter budget, they're setting up a snack bar grab-and-go area in the lobby and outside the ballroom for Friday night and Saturday during the day, so even if you don't have the time or the funds for a sit down, you won't break your budget and can keep yourself going!

This is shaping up to be a great 12th Night!
